Some of Us Were Never Meant to Fit in One Box
“Tell me about yourself.”
It sounds like a simple request until you have lived a life that cannot be explained with one title.
Which part should I share?
The teacher?
The marketer?
The fundraiser?
The entrepreneur?
The event planner?
The writer?
The mother?
The woman who can spend the morning discussing community impact and the evening creating content about something joyful she found in a blind box?
All of those answers are true.
Still, there is pressure to choose one.
We are told to find our lane, build one identity, perfect one skill, and create a life that can be easily explained in a short introduction.
